"I Hate... Remixes"
Various Artists
Release Date: 12 Nov 2007

Output Recordings remains one of the most influential labels of the last ten years, original home for LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture, Playgroup, Four Tet, Colder. DK7, Circlesquare, etc. Output will not be releasing any more records for the time being. “I Hate Music” (Rel: 12 Nov 07) was its 100th and last release, giving an overview of the label’s history.

Process Recordings releases this remix package bringing fresh new mixes of four Output tracks.

Optimo add a tight No-Wave / NY-1981 bassline and flanging percussion to Colder’s “To The Music”, coolly working the vocal in and out before dropping an almighty, stomach-loosening electronic rave riff from hell, which they then proceed to twist and tweak about with for four fiersome minutes of dancefloor mayhem.

Mythical space disco duo Mungolian Jet Set see their Mix of Kreeps’ “All I Wanna Do” chopped into a leftfeld disco stormer by edit king Sean P.

Dempsey’s “ODB” is transformed into a vocoder-electro groover by Swedish newcomer Tomas Almgren, whilst Get Physical / Crosstwon Rebels act Lopazz get a deep and edgy minimal reworking from Londoner ‘Nutaike’.
